Chastity Washington is a nationally touring comedian with a career spanning over 30 years. An NBC Diversity Finalist and HBO Comedy Wings winner.&nbsp;A Chicago favorite, she’s a regular at The Laugh Factory and Comedians You Should Know, and has headlined top clubs nationwide, including Zanies, The Lincoln Lodge, and Improv venues across the Midwest. She’s opened for comedy heavyweights like Tommy Davidson, Sommore, Michael Che, and Roy Wood Jr. Her debut special, Live at Dandy, is streaming on Amazon Prime, Tubi, and YouTube Movies, and she was featured on Season 2 of Nateland Presents: The Showcase.
A staple of comedy in and around Chicago, Jack Baker has built a reputation for himself as a local heavyweight with his unique blend of intimate stories and subversive observation. A regular at all the top clubs in Chicago, Jack has delighted audiences for more than 15 years, sharing the stage with such comedic powerhouses as Bobcat Goldthwait, Dana Gould, and Adam Ray. His debut special, Jack Baker’s Disease, just passed 80,000 views on YouTube.
Ted Willson, the comedic half of the wildly popular online show That Checks Out, is a Chicago-area native. While entertaining at clubs throughout the Midwest, he regularly makes audiences laugh with his funny and familiar stories that you can’t imagine really happened to him. Ted brings those unbelievable true stories to life with a polished wit and an endearing charm.

Crystal Lake Main Beach

Registration is now open for the<a href="https://raceroster.com/events/2026/113777/2026-crystal-lake-half-marathon-and-12k" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank"> 7th Annual Crystal Lake Half Marathon &amp; 12K</a>, taking place Sunday, September 6th. Enjoy the sites of Crystal Lake Illinois with the start at iconic Crystal Lake Main Beach, a loop around Lippold Park, a view of the Dole Mansion, a jaunt down the Prairie Path, and finish up in downtown Crystal Lake. This point to point venue will bus runners to the START with an easy 5 minute bus ride. Inside building and beach side warm up areas are available no matter what the weather will bring. Every 1 1/2 mile are water stations.&nbsp;Food, Beverages, Awards at the after race party (location TBD).

This presentation, based on the book&nbsp;Young and Undocumented: Political Belonging in Uncertain Times, examines the experiences of the children of immigrants who arrive in the U.S. and grow up not knowing of their undocumented status and the many risks it poses.&nbsp;
Albarracín-Green explores the lives and experiences of undocumented immigrant youth, specifically those of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients. She shows how undocumented youth in the U.S. navigate their identity and sense of belonging in the only country they've ever known as home. Drawing on firsthand interviews, Albarracin-Green delves into the devastating impacts of the undocumented status on the youth's psychological well-being and the opportunities that are available to them. Crystal Lake Christian Church is a church family that loves God and shows that love with reverence and awe; we are all sinners saved by His grace and we love one another through bearing one another’s burdens in prayer and fellowship. We praise the Lord with a mixture of contemporary and traditional music without the circus; it’s not a concert; it’s worship of the living God. We emphasize the fact that it is not the quality of our singing but instead the quality of our heart condition before God that matters most; He is worthy of our praise. We partake of the Lord’s Supper every Sunday. We do so in remembrance of what Jesus, the Lamb of God, achieved at Calvary for a fallen world in need of salvation and a Savior; in need of atonement. We baptize by immersion upon request and view this as the first step of obedience by an individual who has already made a faith commitment and cried out to God for salvation. The words spoken from God’s pulpit are anchored exclusively in the scriptures and, while occasionally topical, we do not view the gospel as a self-improvement program. The gospel message communicates the truth about God’s love, righteousness, holiness and judgement while emphasizing our need to repent of our transgressions before Him.
