CARY, IL - Cary Ale House & Brewing is seeking city approval to add an outdoor patio space where the local business plans to provide additional seating for up to 30 people, a fire pit and the possibility of allowing dogs outdoors to dine with customers, the Northwest Herald reports.

The patio, which would be located on the northwest corner of the building at 208 W. Main St., received preliminary approval from the Committee of the Whole on Tuesday and now will head to the village board for a final vote, according to the article. The business is also in the process of planning for a brewery space, which could be located next door to the restaurant, with the hopes of having that up and running by the end of the year.
