The facility will be used by local police officers for shooting practice and training purposes.
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — The Cary Village Board has approved a $3 million indoor gun range that will be used by the McHenry County sheriff's deputies and other police departments in the county to train.
The McHerny County Joint Firing Range, which will be built on a village-owned property at 460 Cary Woods Circle in Cary, is expected to be constructed in 12 to 14 months, according to Shaw Media. The range is meant solely for officers to use for shooting practice and will not be open to the general public to use.
