Cary Country Club Gets a New Face Lift
Beginning April 1, the Cary country club will be the "place to be" in Cary.

The will officially open to the public April 1 with a new look, menu and fresh faces.
The Country Club has made several renovations, added new restaurant staff and developed a new menu under the direction of general manager Ken Swoboda.
āWe are proud to open our doors this season with a veteran staff at our newly renovated restaurant and an ambitious list of new events and activities through our club house, "Swoboda said in a Cary-Grove Chamber press release.

Swoboda added, āWe are taking the Club to the next level offering quality golf, food and entertainment.ā
According to the new Restaurant/Bar Manager Debra Grochocinski, the Club has been given a real face lift.Ā āWe painted everything. Put up new borders, gutted and remodeled the women's bathroom, added new bar cabinetry, and installed a new 5 tap shower,ā Grochocinski said in a press release.
The restaurant now has three new chefs in the kitchen, she added. Danny Kendrick, who's a local Cary talent, Art Pankin, who studied internationally and Max Contreras, who has experience working in many McHenry county restaurants.

The Friday night Fish Fry is Atlantica Haddock which can be ordered baked or double dipped deep fried.Ā The entree comes with a cup of homemade New England clam chowder, a trip to the restaurantās brand new salad bar, fresh baked rolls and your choice of baked potato, french fries or potato pancakes.
āI don't believe there is a better deal in McHenry County!ā Grochocinski said in a press release. āWe have also added steaks to our menu and complimented them with a "new" wine list and added a variety of appetizers.ā
The Clubhouse will be open Sunday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. serving their clubhouse menu daily, with added specials, like ribs, meatloaf, pasta dishes and more. Live musical entertainment will also be featured.
Established in the 1920s, the country club has one of the most scenic golfing destinations in the Northwest Suburbs.
In fall 2010, the Mchenry County Historical Society honored the country club for its 80 years of service in Cary.
Grochocinski said in a press release, āOur goal is to provide the community with great food at a reasonable price, excellent service with a smile, and a friendly atmosphere that people can relax and enjoy themselves.ā
