Cary Cruise Night Features Corvettes

After a strong opening night last week, Cary Cruise Night promises a repeat performance Wednesday as the Corvettes roll into town.

Corvette owners are encouraged to bring their cars to Cary Cruise Night, located at West Main Street in downtown Cary. Trophies and ribbons will be given to first- and second-place winners, said Suzanne Corr, executive director of the Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce.

The chamber hosts Cary Cruise Night every Wednesday night in the summertime. Cars line West Main Street, between Spring Street and High Road, and visitors can get an up-close look at the vehicles and talk with the car owners.

Guests should note downtown Cary is closed for the car show, but free parking is available at the nearby Metra train parking lots. Food and refreshments are waiting, as well, at Cary’s local establishments including The Tracks Bar and Grill, Galati’s Pizza and Pasta, Tapas Calpe in Orchard Prime Meats, Cary Pub, the Jimano’s Pizza truck and the Buddah Bean coffee shop, Corr said.

Every Wednesday, Cruise Night organizers hold a free raffle prize drawing. The weekly prize is a dining certificate.
