Cary Home Uninhabitable Following Thursday Evening Fire
The blaze at 314 Deveron Circle in Cary severely damaged the home. No one was injured in the blaze.

CARY, IL - A Cary family is without their home after a blaze severely damaged the residence Thursday evening, fire officials said. The Cary Fire Protection District was called to 314 Deveron Circle in Cary at about 6:21 p.m. Everybody inside the home was able to get out safely before firefighters arrived and on one was injured by the blaze, according to a news release from the Cary Fire Protection District.
Fire crews first at the scene found smoke and fire showing from the second floor of the house.
Fire damage was contained to the second floor of the home and fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze within 10 minutes. The home was still severely damaged and is currently uninhabitable, according to a news release. Fire officials did not have a damage estimate as of Friday morning.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation by the Cary Fire Protection District and the Office of the State Fire Marshal, according to a news release.
The Cary Fire Protection District was assisted at the scene of the blaze Thursday by the Algonquin-Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District, the Barrington Fire Department, Countryside Fire Department and the Fox River Grove Fire Department.
