The event will run from 5 to 7 p.m. at the public works department, 454 Cary Woods Circle in Cary. The open house will include a touch-a-truck event, wastewater plant tours and public works operations stations.
Residents and children stopping out will learn about the public works department's role in keeping the village clean and safe.
