Cary Main Street Fest to Return for Second Year

The outdoor fall festival will be held on Sept. 19 and 20.

The Cary Main Street Fest will be returning for a second year in September.

In its first year, the festival drew over 5,500 attendees to downtown Cary and coordinators say the outdoor fall festival will be back and will be bigger and better than ever.

The fest will be held from 12 to 10 p.m. on Sept. 19 and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sept. 20 n downtown Cary. The festival will feature craft beer selections, food from local restaurants, a marketplace of vendors and artists, live entertainment and a children’s area.

The band lineup for the event includes: The Aunt Janet Band, Suburban Cowboys, No Alternative, Face N Time, CAT 5, Jump Taxi, The Wiggle-O’s, and Boom Shakalaka.

A $5 donation is requested.

Proceeds benefit Cary Grove Area Chamber initiatives, annual community programming, beautification efforts, the Volunteer Grant Program and sponsorships throughout the year.
