Cary Park District Announces Summer Concert Series

The Lions Park in Cary will be filled with a variety of musical talent.

The Cary Park District concert series is set to begin June 9.

Summer concerts are held at 7 p.m. on Thursdays at the Rotary Bandshell in Lions Park. All concerts are free to the public thanks to the generous sponsorship of The Rotary Club of Cary-Grove, McHenry County Living and Home State Bank.

June 9: Revanue and U and What Army?

The first and second place winners of the perform.

June 16: Alex & The Allstars

Playing a variety of hits from the 70s until now, Alex & The Allstars engage their audience

with talented musicianship combined with a party-time attitude.

 

June 23: Probable Cause

Probable Cause covers a wide range of music from the 70s classics all the way up to the

latest hit songs on the radio. Veteran musicians with decades of combined musical

experience are sure to deliver a non-stop set of music to be enjoyed by all ages.

 

July 7: Mr. Myers

Mr. Myers blends the tropical sounds of Calypso and Ska, the rhythms of Reggae and a little

Rock-n-Roll with some favorite classic tunes to create their own style of music – Caribbean Rock.

 

July 14: Soda

Soda features four experienced musicians who capture the heart and soul of one of the

most diverse playlists you will find anywhere.

 

July 21:  7th Heaven

7th Heaven will energize you with their full rich sound, experienced musicianship and non- stop energy show. Their play list includes popular cover songs so audiences will be able to sing and dance along.
