The Cary Park District is hosting Bark Fest at the Dog Park in Hoffman Park on Saturday, May 9 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.
The Cary Park District is hosting Bark Fest at the Dog Park in Hoffman Park on Saturday, May 9 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Dog park pass holders and non pass holders are welcome to attend and enjoy complimentary visits during that time as well as a mini pet expo with a variety of pet related businesses, rescue groups, and shelters from around the community. Dog food and blankets will be accepted at the event to help animals in need. Items will go to local shelters and rescue groups.
The Cary Park District’s Dog Park is located at Hoffman Park on West Main Street. From Route 14 head south on Cary-Algonquin Road to West Main Street. Then, turn west on West Main Street. Follow West Main Street until it ends at the parking lot access point.
The Park District is seeking pet related businesses, rescues, and shelter groups to be vendors at the event. Interested businesses should register at the Community Center. Fee is $20 - $35 depending on type of business or group.
