Cary's Summer Concerts in the Park Start Tonight

The Cary Park District joins the summer concert action as it hosts the first Concert in the Park performance on Thursday.

The music is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at the Rotary Bandshell in Lions Park, 1170 Silver Lake Rd., Cary.

Tonight’s lineup includes the first and second-place winners from the Cary Area Teen Battle of the Bands competition held May 19. “Dead Authority” and “U and What Army” walked away with the battle’s top honors.

The Concert in the Park series is scheduled on select Thursday nights this summer.

June 28: “Green Thirteen”

July 12: “Parrothead Express”

July 19: “Run 4 Covers”
