City Council Approves Long-Delayed Downtown Townhouse Project
Developer Projades will finish the long-delayed second phase of Pingry Place townhouses in downtown Crystal Lake.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Crystal Lake City Council has approved plans to complete a long‑delayed downtown townhouse project that's been stalled for more than 30 years.
South Barrington‑based developer Projades will build 19 units called Jade Station on Petrick and Lesley lanes between Woodstock and Brink streets, according to Shaw Local. The townhomes are expected to feature three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and two‑car garages with prices in the $400,000 range.
The project, originally approved in 1990 with 14 townhouses built at that time, will now see developer Projades complete the second phase 34 years later, constructing all but one of the remaining originally planned units, Shaw Local is reporting.
