SCHEDULED OUTDOOR WARNING SIREN MAINTENANCE

 
Crystal Lake, IL – On January 13 and 14, 2022, the City of Crystal Lake’s 16 outdoor warning sirens will be receiving schedule maintenance. As part of the scheduled work, the City’s contractor will need to perform a single, 5 second activation test for each siren. This is not a full activation as when the sirens are tested on the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am. Only one siren at a time will activate for the 5 second period.

Additionally, one of the sirens, located on River Birch Blvd on the northeast side of the City near the Woodlore subdivision, will require limited full activations over the two-day period while upgrades are performed on this siren only by the City’s contractor. Activations are only done during daytime working hours.
