City Hall To Be Named After Late Mayor Aaron Shepley
Shepley died at the age of 56 in May 2020.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL β Crystal Lake's municipal building will be named after its longest-serving mayor, Aaron T. Shepley, who died unexpectedly at the age of 56 last year, according to the Northwest Herald.
On Tuesday, the Crystal Lake City Council voted Tuesday in favor of naming the city's municipal building the Aaron T. Shepley City Hall. Shepley, an attorney, was the mayor of Crystal Lake for 21 years and also was the co-founder of the Crystal Lake Strikers Drumline.
Shepley died in his home in Crystal Lake in May 2020.
