Colonel Palmer House to Host Two Valentine’s Inspired Events

Come to the Colonel Palmer House this February for two Valentine’s inspired events. All programs are held at the Colonel Palmer House located at 660 E. Terra Cotta Ave in Crystal Lake. For more information contact Mary Ott at palmerhouse@crystallakeparks.org or 815-477-5873.

The Colonel Palmer House was built c.1858 by settlers Gustavus and Henrietta Palmer. Located on its original site, the home was entered in the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. Currently the home is maintained by the Crystal Lake Park District and home to the Crystal Lake Historical Society.

Fee: Children (ages 4-12) $12 per person and adults $18 per person.

Bring your sweetheart to the Colonel Palmer House for an elegant luncheon tea. The historic home with Victorian parlors are the perfect setting to bring that someone special. Tables of four can accommodate you and three of your guests – make it a double date or a family affair.
