Comedian Christopher Titus Coming to the Raue

The comedian has been selling out shows across the U.S. He is coming to Crystal Lake in June 14.

Raue Center For The Arts is excited to announce the return of Christopher Titus. Employing what he has labeled “hard funny,” Titus has released seven 90-minute in recent years and will perform his newest special, “Amerigeddon,”starting at 8 p.m. on June 14 in Crystal Lake. He has six one-hour comedy specials currently running on Comedy Central and his seventh special, “Born With a Defect,” premiered in 2017.

“Comedy unites us all – and Christopher Titus does a great job at making us laugh at ourselves and our opinions,” said Raue Center Executive Director, Richard Kuranda. “This is a 90-minute show that will have you laughing all summer.”

Titus has also formed Combustion Films, a production company which produced his last three specials and “Special Unit,” a full-length film released in 2017.

Known for leaving no stone unturned, especially within his own life and family, Titus takes his audience on a 90-minute ride that will leave them exhausted from laughter, according to a news release from the Raue.

“To see one of Titus’ shows is to love him,” according to a news release.

Titus is currently performing his newest comedy show, “Amerigeddon,” in sold-out theaters across the country.
