Construction Worker from Cary Wins $250,000 Lottery Prize

A Cary construction worker recently won a $250,000 lottery prize.

Daniel Raudebaugh, 69, has lived in Cary for 25 years and decided to purchase a Illinois Lottery Lucky Loot ticket while stopping to get gas while on his way home from work. He plans to use his winnings to pay bills and will save the rest.

He bought the ticket, which is new Illinois Lottery ticket option, at a Mobil gas station at 1234 North Halsted in Chicago. The retailer received a $2,500 bonus, equal to one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
