Creative Living Series: Dr. Robert Martin talks "How We Do It" March 16 at Woodstock Opera House
Dr. Martin presents mankind's evolutionary past on reproduction and childrearing, and what it all means for the future of our species

What does "natural" really mean when it comes to sex, pregnancy and parenting? Dr Robert Martin, emeritus curator of biological anthropology at Chicago's Field Museum, discusses reproduction from the basic biology of sperms and eggs to the complexities of birth control and assisted fertility. During his talk, "How We Do It: The Evolution and Future of Human Reproduction," Dr. Martin presents a look at our evolutionary in terms of childrearing practices and other aspects of reproduction, offering insights into what worked, what didn't, and what it all means for the future of our species.
On stage of the Woodstock Opera House, Dr. Martin shares his talk "How We Do It," as part of the Creative Living Series, sponsored by the Woodstock Fine Arts Association, now in its 53rd season. Attendees are invited for coffee, light breakfast treats, and conversation at the Stage Left Café beginning at 9 a.m. Dr. Martin takes the stage at 10 a.m., and a question and answer period follows his presentation.
