Mary Fons presents 'A ThirtySomething Quilter Tells All: Notes on the Industry from a Quilt Mafia Daughter on Jan 19

Mary Fons, daughter of quilting legend Marianne Fons, is the co-host of the PBS show Love Of Quilting, as well as the founder of the Small Wonders line of quilting fabrics. She is also a columnist for quilts.com and co-host with her mother of the podcast Quilt Your Heart Out.

"To make a quilt," she says, "is to make functional art."

Those who love the craft of quilting as well as others who appreciate the artistry of quilts, are invited to take this opportunity to meet Fons. This special interest program is part of the Creative Living Series sponsored by the Woodstock Fine Arts Association, now in its 53rd season. Attendees are invited for coffee, light breakfast treats, and conversation at the Stage Left Café beginning at 9 a.m. Fons takes the stage at 10 a.m, and a question and answer period follows her presentation.
