A McHenry County and Northern Illinois arts and cultural attraction, The Creative Living Speakers Series is among the nation’s oldest non-university sponsored lecture series, with distinguished speakers in music, art, theatre, history, literature, politics and business. WFAA president Paulette Gitlin says, “Not only is this an opportunity to be inspired and entertained by guest lecturers on the historic Woodstock Opera House stage, but also a chance to ask the speakers follow-up questions. Often, speakers remain at the opera house to meet audience members and sign autographs. The experience, meaningful and rewarding, explains the series’ longevity.”
For tickets, contact the Woodstock Opera House at (815) 338-5300 or online at www.woodstockoperahouse.com. For in-person ticket purchases, the opera house box office is open Mondays – Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 121 Van Buren in Woodstock.
