Crystal Lake Blotter: DUI, Battery, Retail Theft Arrests

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Crystal Lake Police Department made the following arrests in recent weeks:

• Taylor Rae Hawkins, 29, of the 100 block of Beardsley Street, was arrested on Oct. 1 for criminal damage to property. Bond was set at $150. Hawkins is next expected in court on Oct. 22.
• Devin James Peterson, 22, of the 800 block of Eletson Drive in Crystal Lake, was arrested on Sept. 29 for retail theft. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail.
• Sarah Christine Johnson, 31, of the 2800 block of Crystal Lake Road in Cary, was taken into custody on Sept. 29 on a warrant for aggravated battery. Her bond was set at $1,000. She is next expected in court on Oct. 21.
• Luis Alejandro Ruiz, 34, of the 800 block of Barbara Lane in McHenry, was arrested on Oct. 1 on an in-state bond forfeiture warrant. Bond was set at $1,000. The warrant was for a disorderly conduct charge out of McHenry County.
• Patrick John Christy, 26, of the 7900 block of Wonder View Drive in Wonder Lake, was arrested on Oct. 1 on a a driving on a revoked license charge. His bond was set at $2,500. He is next expected in court on Nov. 5.
• Teresa Ann Jennings, 48, of the first block of Dole Avenue in Crystal Lake, was arrested on Oct. 1 for battery/make physical contact and retail theft. Jennings was turned over the McHenry County Jail.
• Sarah Rebecca Ryan, 19, of the 200 block of Evergreen Circle in Gilberts, was arrested on Oct. 2 for driving with a suspended liense/failure to appear. Her bond was set at $250. She is next expected in court on Nov. 12.
• Dario Armenta-Herrera, 44, of the 200 block of North Seminary Avenue, was arrested on Oct. 2 for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving under the influence of BAC .08 and reckless driving. His bond was set at $3,000 and he was transported to the McHenry County Jail.
• Pierre George Cabuzel, 77, of the 200 block of Grove Street in Woodstock, was arrested on Oct. 5 for driving under the influence of alcohol, and DUI over legal BAC limit. His bond was set at $100 and he is next expected in court on Nov. 5.
• Erik Ray Hernandez, 34, of the 300 block of Elm Street in Elgin, was arrested on Oct. 7 on an in-state bond forfeiture/warrant out of McHenry County on a suspended driver's license charge. Bond was set at $300.
• Kendall Benjamin Stork, 21, of the 400 block of Otis Road in Barrington, was arrested on Oct. 9 for retail theft. Stork's bond was set at $1,500.
