Crystal Lake Blotter: Speeding 35 MPH Over Limit, Battery Arrests

A look at recent police reports from the Crystal Lake Police Department.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – The Crystal Lake Police Department made the following arrests in recent weeks:

  • Justin Matthew White, 21, of Island Lake, was arrested on April 24 on four counts of retail theft. Bond was set at $1,500.
  • Elisabeth Juanita Niebres, 30, of 582 Darlington Lane, 8, in Crystal Lake, was arrested for DUI/Alcohol on April 27. Bond was set at $100 and Niebres is next expected in court on June 5.
  • Eloy Pena, 48, of 2402 Tomahawk Court in Carpentersville, was arrested on April 28 on an in-state bond forfeiture warrant for failure to appear. Bond was set at $20,000.
  • Robert Paul Mason, 31, of 521 Lincoln Street in Algonquin, was arrested on April 28 for speeding over 35 mph over the speed limit. Bond was set at $1,500. He is next expected in court on June 12.
  • Gregory William Witchek, 61, of 260 E. Lake Street in Bloomingdale, was arrested on April 29 for DUI/Alcohol. Bond was set at $100. Witchek is next expected in court on June 12.
  • Scott Lee Callicot, 37, of 1129 Manchester Mall in McHenry, was arrested on May 1 for domestic battery/physical contact and battery/make physical contact.
  • Randy Andrew Szczepanik, 41, of 4312 Shamrock Lane, 2, in McHenry, was arrested for driving on a revoked license. Bond was set at $150.
  • Joseph Patrick Maloney, 48, of 1288 Manchester Drive in Crystal Lake, and Derek Joseph Maloney, 23, also of 1288 Manchester Drive in Crystal Lake, were both arrested on May 1 for domestic battery/physical contact.
  • Hiram Gabriel Ramirez, 36, of 1634 Skyridge Drive, 1, in Crystal Lake, was arrested on May 2 for domestic battery/physical contact. Ramirez is next expected in court on June 26.
  • Guy Wieland Courtney, 64, of 42 N. Caroline Street in Crystal Lake, was arrested on May 3 for driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $1,500. Courtney is next expected in court on June 12.
