What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
I am running for office because I care about this community. I want to make sure Crystal Lake continues to be a great place to live. I feel that I have a duty to serve my community. Crystal Lake has given me so much opportunity and this is a great way to give back.

What should the city's priority be in the next four years? 
I believe the city's top priority should be to keep up the great level of service that is provided to our residents while maintaining our balanced budget. I believe that residents should be treated like customers of the city. This will keep Crystal Lake an attractive community to move to or open a business in.

What is your top priority for the next four years?
My top priority will be to stay in touch with the people of this community. I am very active in several different organizations and  meet with many people each week. I will make sure that any concerns I hear are addressed and given my full attention. I will be accessible to anyone who needs to voice a concern. I welcome all recommendations and opinions.

Additional comments:
I am an Eagle Scout, I attended West Elementary, Lundahl Middle School and Central High School. I have been very involved with the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce by participating in many events and sitting on many committees. I am the Chairperson for Leaders In Action, Treasurer for Young Professionals and have Chaired the Grow Sub-committee.

I am active with the Governmental Affairs Committee, Member Rewards Committee and sit on the Crystal Lake Chamber Foundation Board. My wife and I volunteer to work for charitable events throughout the year, we participate in the Community Clean Up and  have been very interested and concerned with the well-being of this community.
