Crystal Lake Closed to Motorized Watercraft

In an effort to help provide flood relief to shoreline residents on Crystal Lake, the Crystal Lake Park District is suspending all motorized watercraft use until the lake level recedes. Piers that are now submerged and are non-visible have also been identified as a safety concern. Once water levels recede from shoreline yards, motorized water craft use will be re-evaluated. Residents looking to remove boats from the lake may do so at a no wake speed. Your patience and understanding during this extreme water event is greatly appreciated.
