Crystal Lake Community Band to Hold Winter POPS Concert
The 75 piece Crystal Lake Community Band will present the WInter POPS concert on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 4:00 at the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn.
The community band is celebrating it’s 30th anniversary this year and the director, Marty Magnini will share the podium with Conductor Emeritus, Don Ehrensberger, who will direct his own adaptation of ”Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. Lori Sutherland will be playing bass clarinet on ”The Old Grumble Bear” and the clarinet section will be featured on ”Clarinet Holiday Polka”. Other Holiday and band literature will complete the program.
Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, students and the military and $7 for groups of 10 or more. They may be purchased on the website www.clcb.org or by leaving a message at 815-679-2263.
