Crystal Lake Considers Allowing Bar at Liquor Store
Garfield's Beverage Warehouse wants to allow a bar at its store so customers can taste products before they buy.
Garfield’s Beverage Warehouse is hoping to add a 20-foot bar to its store in Crystal Lake so customers can taste-test the store’s products, according to the Northwest Herald. Under the proposal, the family-owned liquor store, which has six locations throughout the Chicago area, is looking to build a bar that has six to seven stools with the possibility of tables where customers can talk to sales professionals and sample the store’s beverages.
Customers would also be able to take their beverages through the store while they shop, according to the article. The Crystal Lake City Council will consider the proposal at a meeting Tuesday night.
