Crystal Lake Jewelry Store Burglarized: Police
The Crystal Lake Police Department is investigating the burglary.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — A person broke the glass of a jewelry store in Crystal Lake on Monday night and got away with stolen items from the store, police said. Crystal Lake Deputy Police Chief Thomas Kotlowski told the Northwest Herald the incident was isolated and it's unclear what was all taken and the estimated value of the items.
A local Ring update shows the burglary occurred in the area of Keith Avenue and Route 14, which is where Nelson's Jewelry is located, according to the Northwest Herald. Anyone living on Keith, Jackman, Harold and Eugene courts who have video between 10 p.m. on June 1 and 2 a.m. on June 2 is asked to let the police department know by calling 815-356-3620.
