Crystal Lake Park District Offers 2 NEW Classes Related to STEM Learning

First session begins January 14

Based on requests from parents, the Crystal Lake Park District is offering 2 new classes with a focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) learning. Register online at www.crystallakeparks.org or in person at the Crystal Lake Park District Admin. Office, One East Crystal Lake Avenue, Crystal Lake. Our Bricks for Kidz classes build on the universal popularity of LEGO Bricks to deliver a high quality of educational play. Each one-hour weekly class is a fun, enriching experience for your child. Kids build a new motorized project each week using the classic and technical LEGO elements loved by generations of children. They think it's COOL, you know it's EDUCATIONAL! Each session is a different theme, so you don't want to miss out!

Using drag-and-drop icon based software provides an introduction into the world of computer programming and robotics that will equip children to succeed in a technology-based marketplace. This fun, action-packed class combines real-life skills with real-life fun!
