Crystal Lake Park District Offers Legacy of Leadership Program for Teen Girls
Empowering girls ages 13-18
The LEGACY of Leadership Institute provides girls ages 13-18 with leadership, meeting management, team building, public speaking, self-esteem and critical thinking skills. These skills are needed as girls began to take advantage of leadership opportunities within their local schools or their community. This program is taught by Dr. Flecia Thomas. Dr. Thomas is a passionate believer in the power of knowing one’s self. She utilizes her knowledge, life and research experiences to assist others in enhancing their very existence through self-discovery and action planning.
