Crystal Lake Police Blotter: Criminal Damage, DUI, Retail Theft

A look at recent arrests made by the Crystal Lake Police Department.

The Crystal Lake Police Department made the following arrests in recent weeks:

  • Samual Louis Alvarez, 26, of 567 Sumerset Lane #3 in Crystal Lake, was arrested on July 26 on a warrant for failure to notify damage of unattended vehicle. His bond was set at $1,500
  • Carey Randall Brown, 54, of Three Oaks, Mich., was arrested on July 13 for driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $150 and his court date was set for Sept. 5.
  • Alberto Rios, 52, of 1720 Ginny Lane in Woodstock, was arrested on July 16 for driving on a revoked driver's license. Bond was set at $150. Rios is next expected in court on Aug. 22.
  • Wayne Allen Stone, 69, of 1465 Loch Lomond Drive in Crystal Lake, was arrested on July 18 for driver's license expired six months or less. Bond was set at $150.
  • Kristina Ingrid Paluch, of 2681 Braeburn Way in Woodstock, was arrested on July 19 for DUI/Alcohol and driving under the influence BAC .08. Bond was set at $3,00. Paluch is next expected in court on Aug. 15.
  • Alec J. Dugas-Parrish, 23, 401 Kelly Lane in Crystal Lake, was arrested on July 22 for criminal damage to property/school $300<$10,000. Bond was set at $1,500. Dugas-Parrish is next expected in court on Aug. 15.
  • Kayla Christine Zeller, 25, 1456 Blue Heron Drive in Crystal Lake, was arrested on July 22 for domestic battery/physical contact.
  • Leslie Ann Schumacher, 23, of 470 Buckingham Drive in Crystal Lake, was arrested on July 23 for retail theft.
  • Melissa Lee Griffin, 45, of 210 Riverside St. in Janesville, was arrested on July 23 for retail theft and an in-state bond forfeiture warrant. The DuPage County warrant was for a driving on a suspended license charge.
