Crystal Lake Police Seek Public's Help Locating Missing Teen

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — The Crystal Lake Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 18-year-old man.

Authorities say the family of Nathaniel Tillman reported him missing on Wednesday morning. Police say Tillman was last seen at about 11:50 a.m. on July 19 riding his black Mongoose brand mountain bike. The bike has red lettering.

Authorities are investigating what led to the teen not returning home or communicating with his family. Police do not believe foul play is a factor in his disappearance but do "share in his family's concern for his well-being," according to a news release from the police department.

Tillman is described as being 5-feet, 7-inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He has fair skin, brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information regarding Tillman's whereabouts can call the police department at 815-356-3620. In addition, anyone with a cell phone can send an anonymous tip to the Crystal Lake Police Department by texting the word CLPDTIP along with the tip information to 847411.
