Crystal Lake Splash Pads Staying Open Through Sept. 20
Warm weather prompts the city to extend the splash pad season by two weeks.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL — Crystal Lake’s splash pads will remain open through Sept. 20 due to expected warm weather, the city announced Monday.
The splash pads will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at Acorn Alley in Veteran Acres Park and Crystal Castle at 850 Willow Tree Drive. The splash pad at Lakewood Meadows remains closed while repairs are completed, according to the park district.
The extended season gives families an extra two weeks to enjoy the splash pads before they close for the year, park district officials said.
