Crystal Lake Tiny House Featured On HGTV Show
Tiny House Hunters is coming to Crystal Lake on Friday to film.
CRYSTAL LAKE, IL -- Brent Hollenberg of Crystal Lake and his family only lasted 12 days in the tiny house he built for him and his pregnant wife, and their three young children.
“We decided it wasn’t for us, but we tried it,” he told the Northwest Herald. “It was like being in jail with your wife.”
Now the owner of Reclaimed in Crystal Lake is turning to HGTV to help him sell the 196-square-foot house for $59,000, the Northwest Herald reports. The cable TV channel is expected to be in Crystal Lake on Friday to film for an upcoming episode of Tiny House Hunters.

It's unclear at this point when the episode of the Crystal Lake tiny house will air. For those interested in checking out the tiny house, an open house will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Aug. 27.
