Culver's Moves Just 600 Feet Down Road
The Culver's at 501 Pingree Road closed its doors on Monday and reopened in its new, and very close-by, location on Tuesday.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL -- The Culver's in Crystal Lake has moved its operations. But those craving a butter burger or some delicious frozen custard shouldn't have a hard time finding it since the business did not move far. On Monday, Jim DiVerde, owner and operator of the Culver's, shut his business's doors at 501 Pingree Road and reopened the business in its new location Tuesday at 400 Pingree Road, the Northwest Herald reports.
That's only about 600 feet south of Culver's old location.
“Crystal Lake only had one day without a Culver’s,” DiVerde told the newspaper.

So, why did DiVerde decide to move? He said the old building was not as modern or as affordable as Culver's new spot, according to the article.
