D155 Board OKs Sale of Haber Oaks Campus

The board agreed to sell the property in August and approved a minimum acceptable bid amount of $700,000.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL – The District 155 school board approved a purchase agreement for the sale of Haber Oaks Campus with Elm Tree Properties, LLC during a Tuesday meeting. The board agreed to sell the property in August and approved a minimum acceptable bid amount of $700,000, according to school officials.

The property, located at 400 Haber Road in Cary, previously housed the district’s alternative education program. That program was relocated to Crystal Lake South High School this past summer.

The main building is approximately 13,000 square feet and sits on nearly three acres of land.

“We’re very pleased with the transition of the Haber Oaks facility within Crystal Lake South, and we’re glad that we were able to approve a purchase agreement so quickly,” said Adam Guss, District 155 Board of Education president.

Details regarding the real estate sale will be released when the sale is finalized.
