D155 OKs $14 Million In Summer Construction Projects

CRYSTAL LAKE-CARY, IL - From School District 155: Demolition has begun at all four high schools as part of the 2018 D155 Capital Improvements Project. The board approved $13,973,365 in capital improvement projects that are necessary for maintenance and to upkeep our schools (this includes the cost to relocate Haber Oaks).

During the week of June 11, construction crews began installing new windows at Cary-Grove High School. The thermodynamic windows will help D155 save money on energy bills.

During the weeks of May 28 & June 4, constructions crews started the parking lot project at Prairie Ridge High School.

During the week of June 4, crews ripped up the track at Crystal Lake Central until only gravel remained. They are now in the process of paving it so runners can use it in the fall.

During the week of May 28, crews tore down walls and lockers at Crystal Lake South to make space for the new Haber Oaks Campus.

· Roof Replacement
· Clock Intercom System Replacement
· Softball Backstop Replacement
· 1st Floor Renovations to accommodate the relocation of Haber Oaks

PRAIRIE RIDGE HIGH SCHOOL
· Tennis Court Replacement
· Track Resurfacing
· Storage Shed Construction
· Clock Intercom System Replacement
