D47 to Holds Meetings On Dual Language Program
The meetings will educate parents about the dual language program and the lottery selection process.

CRYSTAL LAKE, IL –Informational meetings about District 47's dual language program will be held for parents with an incoming kindergarten student for the 2019 to 2020 school year. The meetings will educate parents about the dual language program and the lottery selection process involved for entry, according to a District 47 news release. Parent attendance at one of the informational sessions is required in order to apply for the program but does not guarantee their child’s placement.
No childcare will be provided. Meetings will be held at the CORE Center, 300 Commerce Drive in Crystal Lake, on the following dates:
Wednesday, January 30, 2019
- 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (English)
- 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. (Spanish)
Monday, February 4, 2019
- 9:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. (English)
- 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. (Spanish)
Thursday, February 7, 2019
- 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (English)
- 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. (Spanish)
