Dense Fog Advisory Issued Thursday For Chicago Area
Dense fog is reducing visibility across Chicago area. Drivers urged to slow down and use caution until conditions improve.
Drivers across the Chicago area should be careful while out and about Thursday as a dense fog advisory has been issued.
The advisory covers counties across the Chicago area, and will remain in affect until noon for McHenry, Kane, Kendall, Grundy, Kankakee and parts of Will County. The advisory is in effect through 3 p.m. for Cook, DuPage and Lake counties.
According to the National Weather Service, visibility may drop to one-quarter mile or less in some areas, creating hazardous driving conditions.
