District 26 Schools to Remain Closed Thursday
Schools throughout the suburbs have begun to announce cancellations for Thursday.
All Cary District 26 students will get another day off from school Thursday.
Cary District 26 has closed its schools due to the extreme low temperatures and wind chill values, according to the school district’s website.

No other Crystal Lake or Cary school districts reported closings for Thursday as of 3:30 p.m. on the Emergency Closing Center website but several other suburban and McHenry County districts had begun to call off classes for another day.
