District 304 Tradition Of Excellence Winners Announced

The winners were announced during a District 304 school board meeting May 28.

GENEVA, IL — Geneva District 304 recently announced its tradition of excellence winners at a school board meeting. The Board of Education presented its highest honor to the following Geneva High School students who qualifed for the boys state track meet: Lawi Djuma, Ryan Kredell, Jacob Uhlmann and Onyi Ukaobasi.

The students qualified for the IHSA Class 3A State Boys Track Meet, which was held May 24 to 25 at the Eastern Illinois University. Their coach is Gale Gross.

Also recognized at the school board meeting was girls track state qualifiers Kelly McCloughan and Sophia McDonnell, according to a 304 Connects e-newsletter.

These students were chosen to represent Geneva High School at the IHSA Class 3A State Girls Track Meet held May 17-18 at the Eastern Illinois University.

Their coach is Peter Raak.
