Dog Missing After Blaze Breaks Out In Cary Home: Fire Officials
The fire was reported on New Year's Eve.
CARY, IL — A dog is missing following a fire in Cary Wednesday afternoon, fire officials said.
The blaze broke out at about 3:55 p.m. on Wednesday in the 1300 block of Mulberry Lane in Cary and lead to the partial collapse of the home, according to a news release from the Cary Fire Protection District.
No one was injured in the blaze, and the fire was brought under control within two hours.

Firefighters attempted to find and rescue a dog that was reported to still be inside the home at the time of the blaze but could not locate the animal.
The dog is still missing, according to a news release.

The home and its contents are considered a complete loss, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation, fire officials said.
