Frosty Fest In Gurnee Will Be Held This Weekend
The free event will be held at Viking Park n Gurnee from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
GURNEE, IL — Frosty Fest will be held this weekend in Gurnee.
The outdoor festival, which will run from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday at Viking Park, 4374 Old Grand Avenue, is free and open to the public, according to the Gurnee Park District.
The event will include iceless curling, ice sculpture games, sleigh rides, inflatable snow globe photo station, a visit from the Warren-Newport Public Library's "bookmobile," and other festive winter games and crafts. There will be free hot cocoa and coffee bars available in the dance hall and hot dogs and chips (while supplies last).

Those stopping out are encouraged to dress warm since most of the events will be held outdoors.
