Donald Trump Jr. To Attend McHenry Co. GOPAC Event

As the campaign season kicks off, former President Donald Trump's son will attend the event in Addison on Oct. 27.

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Donald Trump Jr. will make an appearance at a McHenry County GOPAC event next week.

The event will be held in Addison on Oct. 27 starting at 11 a.m. Those purchasing tickets, which range in price from $150 for general admission to $1,500 for a seat at Trump's table, will get to attend a reception with Trump, according to the McHenry County GOPAC website.

There will be "limited" opportunities to get your picture taken with Trump and join a roundtable discussion with him. Trump Jr. is the oldest of former President Donald Trump's children.

Karen Tirio, chair of MCGOPAC, a Republican political action committee, told the Northwest Herald the MCGOPAC plans to endorse Donald Trump as the Republican candidate for president in next year's election. The fund-raising event on Oct. 27 comes as presidential candidates for the 2024 election kick off their campaign efforts.

"We hope the people will come away with a new perspective on what has been happening in the lives of our former president and his family, as well as a renewed vigor as we begin the 2024 campaign season," Tirio tole the Northwest Herald in an email response.
