MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — A 22-year-old former McHenry man has been sentenced to six years in prison for driving while under the influence of alcohol and cocaine in a crash that killed his friend in December 2017, prosecutors said Thursday. Eduardo Figueroa-Martinez pleaded guilty to aggravated driving under the influence in connection with the Dec. 26 collision.

McHenry County Judge Michael Coppedge ordered Figueroa-Martinez serve two years of mandatory supervised release after his prison term is complete, according to a news release from the McHenry County State's Attorney's Office.
