Eco-Friendly Cartridges Coming to ICBA Stores

Independent College Bookstore Association and Ink-O-Dem partner.

The Independent College Bookstore Association (ICBA) and Ink-O-Dem, a Crystal Lake company that concentrates on inkjet cartridge refilling and testing technology for university and retail environments, announced plans to bring eco-friendly inkjet cartridge refilling services to ICBA member stores.

Representing a $1.5 billion market, ICBA will market Ink-O-Dem’s inkjet cartridge refilling service to all of its institutional member college stores.

“Ink-O-Dem is very excited about this new partnership with ICBA as it provides hundreds of students across the country unprecedented access to an affordable, sustainable ink refilling service,” said Frank Honold of Ink-O-Dem.

According to a release, the company's refilling system is designed to provide students, alumni, faculty and campus neighbors access to convenient, eco-friendly, quality printer ink that is half the cost of a new OEM inkjet cartridge.
