Elderly Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash

HARVARD, IL — A 76-year-old Wonder Lake man was killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday morning near Harvard.

Authorities say a 2009 Ford Ranger driven by Victor Meuch, 76, of Wonder Lake, was headed west on Streit Road when it drove off the south side of the road and rolled over.

Authorities were called to the scene of the collision in the 17000 block of Streit Road in unincorporated Harvard at 9:33 a.m., and Meuch was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a news release from the McHenry County Sheriff's Office.

Drugs or alcohol are not believed to be a contributing factor in the crash. Meuch was not wearing a
seatbelt at the time of the crash.
