The Cary Fire Protection District holds the 2011 Citizen Fire Academy. Attendants will learn fire and safety skills firefighters use, including fire extinguishment, emergency medical care, vehicle accident rescue and extrication and ladder truck operations and more. This class meets every Wednesday through 8/17. Registration required, participants must be at least 19 years old to attend.
