6th Annual Golf for Homeless Women and Children Charity Golf Outing

On Monday August 29, 2011, Home of the Sparrow will be hosting its 6th Annual Golf for Homeless Women and Children Charity Golf Outing. The outing will be held at the exclusive Bull Valley Golf Club in Woodstock. Check-in begins at 10:00am with a scramble format and a shotgun start at 12:00pm, cocktails and silent auction start at 5:00pm and dinner at 6:00pm. Cost per person is $175, Foursome $660 and Dinner only $40.

Proceeds will benefit Home of the Sparrow which provides safe and stable transitional housing and supportive services in a stimulating environment to homeless women and children. Home of the Sparrow operates shelters in McHenry and Crystal Lake along with scattered transitional apartments.

The golf benefit features: golf cart, box lunch, awards buffet dinner, use of driving range, contest hole prizes and an exciting auction featuring many great items such as: an autographed Fukudome Cubs jersey, Gayle Sayers autographed football, newspaper press plates featuring the Chicago Bears Hester Record in Returns, Sox World Series, Blackhawks Stanley Cup and Cubs Clinching the Central Title, and much, much more!
