Friends West of Home of the Sparrow hosts a self-defense class and party to benefit the Home of the Sparrow's and Turning Point's "Sparrow Point" program. Attendants will learn self-defense strategies from local MMA XFO celebrity Jeff Curran and pastor Adam Miller, then enjoy a BBQ, raffles and music. Tickets are $40 for adults, $30 for children age 8 to 13 years old.
