The Cary Park District holds the Happy Trails Fishing Derby. Attendants will start the day with a short fishing lesson and discussion of fishing etiquette, then head to the pond to catch (and release) some fish. Fishing poles, tackles and bait will be provided, or participants can bring their own. Pre-registration suggested but walk-ins welcome as well, anyone over the age of 16 must have a current Illinois fishing license.
